This Privacy Policy explains how Mark Lynch Real Life Coaching (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit this website or get in touch with us. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in an open and transparent way, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

The information we collect
We only collect information that we need in order to respond to you and provide our coaching services.
- Information you give us directly. When you complete the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, an optional phone number, and the message you send us. If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email or social media, we will hold the information you choose to share with us.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, and only if you consent to analytics cookies, we collect limited information about how you use the site — such as the pages you visit, the type of device and browser you use, and general (non-precise) location. This information is provided in aggregated, statistical form and does not directly identify you.
We do not knowingly collect special category (sensitive) personal data through the website. Any personal or sensitive matters discussed during coaching are handled confidentially as part of our coaching relationship and are not published or shared.
How we use your information and our lawful basis

You are never under any obligation to provide your information, but if you do not complete the required fields on the contact form we may not be able to respond to your enquiry.
Cookies and analytics
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies only where you have given us permission.
- Essential functionality. The website is built to work without setting any non-essential cookies by default.
- Analytics cookies. With your consent, we use Google Analytics (provided by Google Ireland Limited) to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies that collect information such as pages viewed and time on site. IP addresses are handled by Google in a truncated/anonymised form.
When you first visit the site you will see a cookie banner. Analytics cookies are only loaded if you choose Accept. If you choose Decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the website footer.

Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we never share it for third-party marketing. We use a small number of trusted service providers (“data processors”) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements:
- Brevo (Sendinblue) — delivers contact-form enquiries to our inbox by email.
- Google (Google Ireland Limited) — provides website analytics, where you have consented.
- Cloudflare — hosts and delivers the website securely.
Some of these providers may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where that happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
We may also disclose your information if we are required to do so by law, or to protect our legal rights.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information only for as long as necessary:
- Enquiry details from the contact form are retained for as long as needed to respond to you and, where relevant, for the duration of our coaching relationship and a reasonable period afterwards.
- Analytics data is retained in line with Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.
When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and Irish data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request erasure of your information (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to our processing of your information;
- request portability of information you have provided to us;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent (for example, analytics cookies).

Children’s privacy
Some of our coaching supports young people. Where a person is under 18, we ask that a parent or guardian makes contact on their behalf and gives consent before any coaching begins. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website without such consent.
How we protect your information
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your information secure, including secure (HTTPS) hosting and limiting access to your information to those who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, we would ask you to contact us first so we can try to put things right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish supervisory authority:
